Crafters SG Market Terms and Conditions

The Applicant(s) agree to abide by the terms and conditions when participating in Crafters SG’s events upon payment booth(s) rental.

Definition:
“Vendor/Vendor(s)” refers to the applicant(s) who rents a stall space at the event.  “Organisor” refers to Crafters SG as the organisor of the event.  “Event” refers to the “Events organized by Crafters SG”.

Rental:

    • Vendor(s) are recommended to do a site visit before signing up for booth(s) to be sure that you are comfortable with the bazaar venue.
    • Booth reservation is on a first-paid basis.  We do not entertain reservations.
    • Booth reservation is confirmed only after full payment with full details received.
    • A rental fee per stall space shall be collected by the organisor upon acceptance of this contract.  
    • Refunds will only be permitted if the bazaar is cancelled.
    • 1 month prior to the start of an event, a 30% off rental as an administrative fee applies for cancellations of events and changes of event dates made by the vendor.
    • 1 week prior to the start of an event, a 50% off rental as an administrative fee applies for cancellations of events and changes of event dates made by the vendor.
    • 3 days prior to the start of an event, cancellations of events and changes of event dates made by the vendor are not permitted.
    • Full refunds will only be permitted, if accidents, death of family members, or incidents proven unfortunate by the organisor.
    • Processing time for any forms of refunds and deposits will be 30 days.

Operation:

    • Vendor(s) who did not show up upon booth confirmation notice from the organisor at the bazaar will result in forfeiture of booth rental and booth.
    • Vendor(s) are only allowed to setup their booths on the day of the event, 2 hours before the start of the event.   
    • Vendors who are late for more than an hour or depart earlier than 1 hour before the end of the bazaar will be penalized $50/day.
    • Vendor(s) is only to use a black coloured cloth to cover their booths when closing.
    • Vendor(s) who did not receive any booth confirmation notice from the organisor but appeared at the bazaar market event may be asked to leave the premises, without bearing any cost or consequences by the organisor.
    • Crafters Singapore events are Rain or Shine.  Organisor will usually provide Gazebo or Tent for basic shelter if it is an outdoor event unless stated otherwise.  However, vendor(s) are strongly advised to bring their own covers as additional protection for stall items.
    • No touting allowed, if vendor(s) is selling products/services.
    • No open serving/tasting allowed. if vendor(s) is selling pre-packet sealed food/drinks.
    • No freezer, chiller, fridge, warmer or any other equipments, if vendor(s) is selling pre-packet sealed food/drinks.
    • Pre-packed sealed food/drinks vendors, must carry a SFA license and food hygiene certificate.
    • Vendor(s) must start packing up 30 minutes before the event ends.  Please cover the booth with a black coloured cloth after the event is over.

Allocation of Stall Space:

    • Booth(s) will be randomly allocated at least 3 days before the event day unless you paid for booth(s) selection.
    • Booth(s) selection is permitted at the cost between $30 to $80 per booth per event.
    • Please make your booth(s) selection payment together with your booth rental.  The organisor will not entertain any booth selection after your booth rental has been made.
    • The organisor will not attend to any changes once the booths allocations have been issued out.
    • Booth setups are to be kept strictly within the given space area by the organisor.
    • If event permits, vendor(s) are allowed to bring only 1 single-tier single-sided white or wood clothing rack not exceeding 1.6m in height, 1m in width, and 0.5m in depth.
    • If event permits, vendor(s) are allowed to bring only 1 single white or wood side table not exceeding 0.55m width, 0.55m length, and 0.55m in height.
    • Each vendor will be given a table (3ft by 3ft or 4ft x 2ft) and a chair unless stated otherwise.
    • In a situation when a vendor(s) does not need a table, they will be permitted 2 clothing racks.
    • Any signage(s)/banner(s) that are deemed to be blocking the view of others will be asked to be taken down immediately.
    • Reasonable space between stalls must be maintained always for safety reasons.  Stocks, boxes, etc. are to be kept neatly within the vendor(s) booth table.
    • Vendor(s) caught using extra tables and chairs from another booth not belonging to you will be penalised double the rental.

Types of Products Restricted:

    • Torn and broken items
    • Utilisation of dangerous implements and materials
    • Sex Toys
    • Counterfeit items
    • MLM related products
    • Services such as insurance, banking among others
    • Items prohibited by law

Terms and Termination:

    • Organisor reserves the right to change the venue and date of the event at any point of time deemed necessary.
    • Organisor reserves the right to change any terms and conditions without prior notice.
    • Organisor reserves the right to reject any application based on its absolute sole discretion without assigning any reasons.
    • Organisor reserves the right to terminate this contract immediately by notice in writing to the vendor without providing any reason.  Such termination shall not prejudice the rights and liabilities of either party against the other for any breach of this contract.

Laws and Regulations:

Vendor(s) are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations in Singapore as imposed by the Government or lawful bodies of the Republic of Singapore (including but is not limited to any item that breaches the intellectual property rights of any third party; any item [including but not limited to cosmetics, food, and drinks, etc]) that requires the prior approval of the relevant licensing authorities, such as NEA, HSA, etc and for which prior approval has not been obtained; any dangerous, offensive, pornographic or illegal items; any form of alcohol. Counterfeit goods are strictly not allowed.  

Best Interest of Organisor:

Vendor(s) undertakes always act in the best interest of Organisor and shall not do or permit anything that may damage or prejudice the reputation of Organisor or bring Organisor into disrepute.

Orderly Behaviour of Vendor(s):

Vendor(s) are hereby given the notice to conduct their business at the facility in a professional manner so as not to give cause for complaints from occupants of the building or the public and to ensure that the image of Organisor is not adversely affected. Vendor(s) shall respect the health and safety of fellow Vendor(s). No acts or threats of physical and/or verbal violence against another person (including sexual violence), disorderly conduct, and/or possession of dangerous articles (such as firearms, explosive materials, etc.) are allowed.

Abuses of Properties:

Vendor(s) are hereby given notice not to abuse by hanging or sticking anything onto the properties (Tents, Tables, Chairs, etc.) provided by the Organisor. Vendor(s) will be asked to leave the Event without any Rental refund.

Loss/Damage to Properties:

    • No properties within the venue shall be removed or to be shifted unless prior approval is given by the Organisor. The Organisor reserves the right to report the incident(s) of theft to the Police and it shall be dealt with under laws and regulations in Singapore as imposed by the Government or lawful bodies of the Republic of Singapore. 
    • In the event of any loss/removal/damage caused to the venue and its furnishings/fixtures, Vendor(s) will be held liable for the loss, removal, or damage and shall pay Organisor such sums as Organisor may determine for the loss or damage caused to the aforesaid.  

Losses:

    • Vendor(s) can place their goods or property overnight in the venue after operation hours at their own risk. For the avoidance of doubt, under no circumstances will the Vendor(s) hold the organisor responsible for any personal injuries, damage, loss, or defacement of goods or property on display occurring, during, before, or after the event, no matter how it was caused.  
    • If Vendor(s) want(s) to take the risk, the goods or property must be stored in luggage bags /boxes with a chain and lock and covered.
    • The organisor will not be held liable and/or responsible for any injuries, illness, and/or death that occurred before and/or after and/or during the event.
    • The organiser is an event company, not an investment firm. The organisor holds no responsibility for the vendor(s) profit or loss.

Electricity:

Vendor(s) will not be provided any electricity unless stated otherwise.

Cleanliness & House Keeping:

Vendor(s) must make sure that their allotted area is clean before leaving.

Parking and/or Loading/Unloading:

    • No complimentary parking will be provided at any events unless stated otherwise.  
    • Vendor may proceed to the respective loading/unloading bay to load/unload their goods. Please note that neither the vehicle may be left unattended, nor any parking could be done at the loading/unloading bay.  

Failure in abiding by any of the above terms and conditions will result in the bearing of any compensation, penalties, and/or legal fees resulting from the violation, removal of the vendor from the event with no refund, and/or a permanent ban.

Crafters Singapore reserves the right to make changes, including changes in content, description, terms, location of bazaar event, dates of bazaar event, etc. at any time without prior notice or bearing any legal cost.
